Born Brands is a company dedicated to developing baby care products that are simple and easy to use. This innovative company was developed by Brisbane-based sisters, Hayley Birtles-Eades and Sally Birtles. The two have been working together since they were young and have made a success of their joint business endeavours with their talent for ingenuity and their combined industry experience.
Hayley, a mother of three, is the Born Brands Innovations and Design Manager and has always had a creative flair. With previous roles in magazines, publishing and design, Hayley and Sally work closely with the Born Brands team of designers to bring the innovative concepts to life. Sally, who has an extensive background in sales and advertising, is the Managing Director of Born Brands and is the driving force behind the company. Both girls are very dynamic and bursting with life and are overjoyed that they are able to provide products that genuinely help.
The Born Brands leading product, Babywedge, is a revolutionary baby care product originally designed to alleviate symptoms of acid reflux and colic in babies, is now providing a level of sanity for parents and babies that suffer from sleep deprivation, even for the unsettled "bad sleeper" babies. This pioneering baby care product was inspired by Hayley's real life experience with her son, who suffered from severe acid reflux and colic.
Together, the sisters came up with a natural solution for acid reflux, cold and flu symptoms and colic with the babywedge - a natural support pillow. After years of baby product research, design, development and testing, the dynamic duo entered the market with the Babywedge in early 2008. Since then, this easy to use baby product has been helping thousands of mothers ensure their babies are well rested and eased of the various ailments that come with reflux and colic.
The babywedge is also designed to be used as a side sleeping pregnancy wedge before baby is born, it also should be used for the pain associated with lower back issues as a lumbar support and comfortable back pillow.
